Do you want to check if your car is ready for Marlin?
Thanks to a member of our community, Terje Flågan, we now have a verification tool to check the ECU versions on your car. ECUs are the computer modules in your Ocean, and the tool will tell you if you have the correct ECU versions for the Marlin update.
All you need to do is to insert the OBD dongle in your car, press the brake to get it into Ready mode, go to the diagnostics area in OceanLink Pro and use the Software Report in OLP Diagnostics
Then you save the generated PDF report, and go to https://marlin.flagan.net in order to check your ECU versions.
On this page you simply upload the PDF file from OceanLink Pro and wait for the test to be done.
If everything checks green, you are ready for Marlin.
If anything checks red, you need to have the modules in question updated to the required versions. In order to do this, you need to reach out to your local Service Provider.
