Terms & Conditions

Version 3.0

General Information

  • Tele-communication/internet will only be available to those with a PULSE, unless other plans are able to be realized.
  • Emails must be consistent through our systems; please use one email for ownership, the Discourse community, the FOA membership portal, and Undercurrent registration.
  • The PULSE discount will only be applied once per membership.
    • If you select a PULSE discount plan for multiple terms, you will be switched to the equivalent plan and the difference charged.
  • Any membership transaction costs will be charged to the member.
  • Changes to membership platforms, or available services, could change some of these terms and conditions. When the terms change, a new version is published; the version you accepted is recorded with your membership.

Initiation Fee

  • New members are subject to a $100 USD Initiation Fee. This fee covers the below.
    • New Member Class (held monthly).
    • Administrative set-up in various systems and in applications.
    • Transactional fees.

Non-Transferable Memberships

  • Memberships remain linked to the member; this is due to the 501(c) status of the FOA and requirements of membership voting rights related to status.
  • The memberships do not follow a vehicle. If a vehicle is sold or purchased by a new owner, the membership does not go with the vehicle.
    • If you sell your vehicle, your membership continues until its expiry date. Turn off auto-renew on your account page if you do not wish to renew.
    • If you buy a vehicle that is already registered to a member, you sign up for your own membership and provide ownership documentation (see Vehicle Ownership Documentation below).
  • We offer some quarterly options for those who may have concerns about the longevity of their ownership.
    • If selling/trading-in your vehicle, please include a flier in the center console, so the next owner can find the FOA!

Vehicle Ownership Documentation

  • When you sign up with a VIN that is already registered to another member, or in FOA's ownership records under a different name your registration will be reviewed.
    • You will be asked to upload proof of ownership, and an administrator reviews it before your membership is activated.
  • Your payment is collected at checkout, but your membership is not activated while the review is pending. The days spent waiting for approval are added to your membership period, so you lose no time.
  • If your documentation cannot be approved, the payment you made is refunded, minus the processing fees charged to the FOA.
  • A vehicle is only re-registered to a new owner after documentation has been reviewed and approved - never automatically.

Non-Refundable Membership

  • The memberships are non-refundable.
    • This includes if a car is inoperable, traded-in or not in use for any reason.
    • This includes if services are temporarily interrupted or if there are any delays to anticipated updates and deliverables.
    • If the length of your ownership or use is in question, some quarterly membership options are available.
    • The only exception is a registration that cannot be verified during review of Vehicle Ownership Documentation (refund minus processing fees).
  • This includes members with auto-renewal of membership in place.
    • Email reminders will be sent out prior to auto-renewal. If the auto -renewal is not canceled in time there will be no refunds, even if you claim an email was not received.
    • Auto-renew can be turned off at any time on your account page on the membership portal, or by emailing info@fiskeroa.com. Your membership then runs until its expiry date.
    • This includes members who no longer possess their vehicles.
      • info@fiskeroa.com should be contacted for any issue related to membership and should be informed of vehicles purchased/sold.

Renewals and the Re-Join Fee

  • Members receive multiple email notices at different timeframes prior to membership expiration, and a renewal banner is shown on the account page from 30 days before expiry.
    • Your renewal will begin at the expiration of your current plan.
    • If an owner still misses their renewal date and the membership expires, the Re-Join Fee will apply, no exceptions.
    • The Re-Join Fee is $50 USD, to cover transactional and administrative costs.
    • After expiry, the new membership period starts on the day you rejoin.
  • Accounts cannot be temporarily suspended for any reason, including inoperable vehicles or extended travel.

Switch from 2025 to 2026 rates

As of the switch from JoinIt to the new FOA Membership Portal, if a member was still on an 2025 plan that member was switched to the closest equivalent 2026 plan.

Switching Plans

  • You can adjust your membership plan mid-term, once per membership period.
    • Switching to a higher-cost plan: the cost difference for the remainder of your period is collected through an online payment, and the new plan starts immediately.
    • Switching to a lower-cost plan: no payment is taken and nothing is refunded. The unused value of your current plan is converted into extra time on the cheaper plan - your membership simply runs longer at no cost before normal billing resumes.
  • You can also choose any plan for your next membership period from the renewal page. The change then takes effect when your current period ends; nothing is charged or changed until then.

2 Vehicle Member

  • 1 OLP account and 1 member vote
    • Info@fiskeroa.com will need all of the below.
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Preferred email
      • VINs (all)
    • Admin. will create 1 owner in the registration system with both VINs owned by the one owner.
    • Membership and Discourse will be synced to the one preferred email.
    • If not already, the owner will register with UC, at register.undercurrent.cloud, with this preferred email for OceanLink Pro. The one OLP account will be able to toggle between vehicle VINs.
    • The owner will be a paying member of the “2 vehicle membership plan” or have appropriate add on costs.
    • Pricing of 2 vehicles will be equivalent to 2 single vehicle memberships, with a 10% discount.
      • Tiered Rates: 2 Vehicle Membership option or add-on options is double the cost of the Unlimited plan with a 10% discount.
        • 2 vehicle membership is not available for lower level tiers.
        • Two Vehicle Memberships are only eligible as Annual Plans
  • 2 OLP accounts and 2 member votes
    • EACH owner that wants an account will need to provide the following to info@fiskeroa.com.
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Preferred email
      • VIN (one)
    • Each owner will have only 1 VIN in the registration system.
    • Each owner will have their own membership account and Discourse community log in.
    • Each owner will individually register with UC, register.undercurrent.cloud, each OLP account will show only one vehicle.
    • Each owner will be a member of an individual vehicle plan.

3+ Vehicle Member

  • 1 OLP account and 1 member vote
    • Info@ will need all of the below.
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Preferred email
      • VIN (all)
    • Admin will create 1 owner in the registration system with ALL VINs owned by the one account.
    • Membership and Discourse will be synced to the one preferred email.
    • If not already, the owner will register with UC with this preferred email for OLP. The one OLP account will be able to toggle among vehicle VINs.
    • The owner will be a paying member of the 3+ vehicle membership plan or add-on equivalent.
    • Pricing of this plan will be equivalent to 3 single vehicle memberships, regardless of the number of vehicles owned, with 15% off of total.
      • Tiered Rate: 3+ Vehicle Membership option or add-on equivalent is 3 times the cost of the top tier or unlimited plan, regardless of number of vehicles owned, 15% off of total.
        • 3+ vehicle membership is not available for lower level tiers.
        • Multiple Vehicle Memberships are only eligible for Annual Plans.
  • # OLP accounts and # member votes
    • EACH owner that wants an account will need to provide the following to info@fiskeroa.com.
      • First Name
      • Last Name
      • Preferred email
      • VIN (one)
    • Each owner will have only 1 VIN in the registration system.
    • Each owner will have their own membership and Discourse community log in.
    • Each owner will individually register with UC, register.undercurrent.cloud, each OLP account will show only one vehicle.
    • Each owner will be a member of an individual vehicle plan.

For Company Vehicles

  • Suggested to have an email that can be passed between drivers and password reset for them (e.g. driver@companyworkABC.com).
  • If you need invoices to state the company name, enter the company name (and VAT number, if any) on your member profile - this will allow the provided information to be generated on invoices and receipts..

Registered Owner (free registration)

  • Fisker owners can register free of charge as a Registered Owner on the membership portal. This is not a membership: it carries no member benefits, no voting rights, and no OceanLink Pro or eSIM access.
  • Registered Owners can upgrade to a paid membership at any time.

Acceptance

These terms are accepted online, by ticking the acceptance box when signing up on the membership portal. Your acceptance is recorded together with the version number of these terms, the date and time, and the IP address it was given from, and this record is kept with your membership.
